Arrival 

After clearing customs, our guide will meet us in the International Arrival Terminal and transport us to our accommodation.

November 20, 2026

​Evening Food Tour by Tuk Tuk

​Spend the day adjusting to your new time zone, or jump into a City Tour.  

 

In the evening, experience the fun of riding around in a

Tuk Tuk to discover Bangkok’s magical atmosphere at

night. Visit famous local eateries around the city sampling the local street foods and go behind the scenes to see how it's made. You will sample about 7 Thai dishes & drinks!

We will be dropped off in one of Bangkok's lively

Night Markets.

Day in Bangkok

The day is yours to enjoy.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES:

The Grand Palace is the must see attraction in Bangkok. It is an architectural wonder of golden stupas, walls and pillars encrusted in shining and colourful mosaics and mural paintings. Previously the residence of past Kings of Thailand, you will see palaces once used for different occasions. 

Also, be sure and check out â€‹one of the largest temple complexes in the city and home to a colossal reclining Buddha that is 46 meters long, covered in gold leaf.  

 

OR

Head to one of Bangkok's tailors for custom garments.  Or the jewelry market.  Or check ouIet the Louis Vuitton Cafe?

Railway Market & Damnoen Saduak Floating Market

Start the morning early with a visit to the Railway Market and witness the train running through the heart of the market while vendors begin to move their goods away from

the tracks.  

​

There are countless floating markets throughout Thailand, but the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is the most famous!  Take a long tail boat ride through the canals and witness the local communities along the riverbank.

​

You will also make a short stop at a local coconut farm and see how different products are produced - including

coconut palm sugar.

​

Lunch is Included.​​​

Head to Chiang Mai

Today we will check out of our Bangkok hotel and head to the airport for our flight to Chiang Mai - located in northern Thailand.​  After checking into our accomodation, the afternoon is yours. 

​

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES:

 

Visit the 600 year-old Wat Pra That Doi Suthep, and take in beautiful view over the city of Chiang Mai.​  Also, admire the copper-plated chedi that is topped by a five-tier gold umbrella which contain partial relics of Lord Buddha.

OR

Take a trip to Tiger Kingdom where you can interact with tigers of various sizes.

 

 The evening belongs to the Night Market for food & drinks.

Yi Peng Lantern Festival

Sleep in, or hang out by the pool.  But this afternoon we will travel to the Yi Peng Lantern Festival.  This is a yearly celebration which represents resisting the darkness and welcoming a brighter future. 

 

The meaning of the Yi Peng lantern release is to let go of bad luck as you get your lantern into the sky.

​

Prior to releasing your lantern, enjoy a buffet dinner, fireworks, a craft & art zone, various vendors, and more.

​

Each individual will receive 2 lanterns and 1 Kratong to be released.

​

Free Day

The day is yours!  You can explore Chiang Mai more - or simply chill at the pool.  

 

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES:

Visit an Elephant Sanctuary where you will be introduced to techniques used to care for elephants.  The emphases is on the care and well-being of the elephants.  Activities include feeding, walking with and washing the elephants.  This experience does not include riding any elephants.

​OR​​

​Quad Bike Experience where you can go off the beaten track to see the best of Chiang Mai's rural landscape on a Quad bike and travel along bumpy off-road trails, narrow rugged paths and through lush jungle.
